Storyteller Bernadette Nason @ Westbank
Bernadette Nason is a multiple award-winning storyteller, writer, and actress. She hails from England, lives in Austin, and performs all over the world. Nason has been a touring artist with the Texas Commission on the Arts since 2002, telling stories annually to over 30,000 students, Pre-K—high. She has received the Austin Critics' Table Award for "Conspicuous Versatility" and the dubious title, "Houston's Biggest Liar." As an actor, Nason was last seen in The Philadelphia Story and in March’s 2017 Sense and Sensibility, both at Austin Playhouse. She recently completed a memoir, Tea in Tripoli, presented as a dramatized excerpt at HPT/Fronterafest on February 8, 2017.
