Yoga for Kids @ Laura's
Instructor Susan Rix interweaves stories, games, and poses allowing participants to learn in a multi-sensory environment which explores the visual, physical, and emotion. Learn breathing tools to aid in the ability to calm down naturally.
Children develop important skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment nourishing each child’s unique inner strength and self acceptance. Each class creates time to relax and have fun while encouraging development of strength, flexibility, balance, body awareness, better focus and concentration and self confidence.
Ages 5 & up.
Susan Rix began her yoga journey back in the mid-nineties, when the stress of retail ownership began to take its toll on both emotions and physical wellbeing. She completed her 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) and went on to be certified in Kids, Seniors, Props and Warrior training for PTSD, stress and depression.
