Creative Arts Society Showcase: An Art Exhibit @ Laura’s @ Laura's Library
Mar 22 – May 10 all-day

The Creative Arts Society is an Austin-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) arts organization actively promoting the development of the “Artist in Everyone.” Established in 1999, the vision of this group is to inspire cultural enrichment, community participation, and respect for diversity. An art talk and reception will be held at Laura’s on Sunday, March 24, from 11am to noon. The artists featured in this exhibit are:

Elena Lipkowski

Elena is a mixed-media artist whose creative journey explores the interplay of place and memory. Elena’s artistic evolution, from advertising/graphic design to studio art/art history, forms the foundation of her commitment to clear and impactful visual storytelling. She invests countless hours meticulously refining pixels and skillfully stitching thread and beads until the true essence of her work unfurls. You can find her at

Kat Zinna

Kat was looking for something to take up after retirement, and art was where she found her calling. Kat feels that motion, texture, and color are good for the soul. A self-taught artist, her primary mediums are paint and collage. Her work usually features bold and bright colors. You can find her at
