Born in San Francisco, Beatrice Baldwin has lived on both coasts, the middle-east, and Hawaii. She moved to Austin in 2004 to be near her family and teach high school art classes at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. After thirty years teaching art to children and adults, she recently retired and spends more time in her Cuernavaca studio and with her family. She holds both a BFA and MFA in painting, drawing, and printmaking. She loves to paint in both watercolor and acrylic. Her paintings are in collections across the country including California, Texas, Virginia, Oregon, New Mexico, and Florida. You can find her at beatricebaldwin.com.
