Join us at Laura’s Library this summer for an art exhibit featuring the beautiful watercolor landscapes of John Warner.

John Warner holds a PhD in Physics and Astronomy. His career included teaching and research at the University of Minnesota, working at NASA, serving as a scientific representative to a U.S. Senator, and founding two companies that helped to develop laser technologies for treating human eyes and whitening teeth.

His interest in watercolor started when he was 16 and took a class from an artist in his neighborhood. He went on to take more courses in this medium over the next 50 years. Now retired, John teaches watercolor to the residents of Belmont Village. His style is what he calls “loose” watercolor. He enjoys letting the paint show the unique characteristics that only watercolors can create.

All proceeds from the sale of John’s work will be donated to the library. He can be reached by email.
