While Lisa Galizia is away today, Kristi Floyd will sub, leading a deep chill yoga class. This gentle class will be on the floor with no standing postures. Bring a mat and blanket. Cushion or pillow recommended.

Kristi is the youth selector at Westbank Libraries and a certified 200-RYT. Yoga helped her get on the path of healing her body, mind, and sense of self with postures and meditation. Although she practiced yoga in her early adulthood, she stopped when her daughter was born. When her daughter was in high school, Kristi returned to it, realizing she wanted to deepen her yoga practice by becoming a yoga teacher and learning more about yoga philosophy. Yoga is now a part of every aspect of Kristi’s life. She loves the way connecting breath with intention, postures and meditation can help everybody find their spiritual truth.


Kristi is a voracious reader and believes books can change the world. She has a degree in Liberal Arts and master’s degrees in library science and Legislative Affairs.
